Please watch this link from Wavy TV 10. It talks about the masses of dead menhaden that we have seen all summer. These fish did not die from water quality issues. They were discarded by the processing vessels as over catch. Meaning that the caught too many, so they didn’t want to take away from their yearly quota. They would rather wait and catch the fish in the fall when they have more oil. This is just the beginning, please reach out to your local politicians to have this stopped. http://touch.wavy.com/r2720/4d0afa73
CHESAPEAKE BAY, Va (WAVY) – Thousands of dead fish appeared on the surface of the Chesapeake Bay over the weekend near the northern end of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.

Not a bad morning, nice catch of flounder topped off with a cobia!
We had a great half day with Ron and Errol. Our mission was a big sheepshead for Ron, which is always a tall order. We were patient, and finally landed a pretty 9lb15oz sheep, which was on 1 oz from citation. I guess the fish forgot to eat breakfast. As a bonus, we caught two Cobia while we were chasing the Sheeps. On the way home we ran into several big schools of red drum. The fish that we hooked were nice, and Ron and Errol each released 50″ citations. It’s always fun to catch a variety of big fish. Can’t wait to get back after ’em.
Great start this morning!!
Great day on the water with family and friends!
Happy 4th of July!
We are praying for all of our friends on the NC coast. Stay safe, and good luck! As always, we are here if you need anything at all.
